Jennifer Pryer, RN, is a dedicated Registered Nurse who has been practicing since 2020, bringing compassion, resilience, and a patient-centered approach to every aspect of her work. She earned her Associate of Applied Science in Registered Nursing from Concorde Career Institute in Orlando, Florida, completing her training through an in-person clinical program that strengthened her hands-on nursing skills. Jennifer’s passion for healthcare is rooted in a lifelong exposure to the profession, inspired by her mother’s remarkable 50-year nursing career, which began as a Licensed Practical Nurse and later advanced to Registered Nurse.

Jennifer’s clinical expertise includes long-term care, rehabilitation, mental health, addiction recovery, and psychiatric nursing. Prior to becoming a Registered Nurse, she worked extensively as a Behavioral Health Technician, caring for individuals facing mental health challenges and substance use disorders. These early experiences shaped her holistic philosophy of care, recognizing the deep connection between mental health, addiction, and physical well-being. Known for her attentive listening and compassionate presence, Jennifer approaches nursing with a strong commitment to supporting patients through both medical and emotional healing.

Currently working within a rehabilitation and nursing home environment, Jennifer continues to expand her clinical knowledge while remaining devoted to improving patient outcomes. She was recently selected for a position at Indigo Manor before a medical setback temporarily paused her transition, a challenge she approaches with determination and optimism. Looking ahead, Jennifer plans to further her education by pursuing a Nurse Practitioner degree, continuing her family’s legacy of service while advancing her ability to provide comprehensive, high-quality care. As she humbly describes herself, she is simply a nurse who genuinely loves her work and finds purpose in caring for others.

I chose this profession with intention, and I plan to continue growing in it because it gives my life purpose and stability for my family.
