Jennifer Loftus, RN, BSN

Jennifer M. Loftus, RN, BSN, is a dedicated registered nurse at Corewell Health Beaumont in Royal Oak, Michigan. With more than five years of hands-on healthcare experience, Jennifer began her career as a medical assistant in a pediatric clinic before transitioning to hospital-based care as a nurse aide and nurse tech. After years of working on a progressive and critical care unit while completing nursing school, she now practices as a full-time RN, bringing both technical skill and heartfelt compassion to every patient encounter. Proficient in the Epic medical charting system, she is known for her strong patient advocacy and meticulous attention to detail.

Jennifer earned both her Associate of Applied Science in Medical Assisting (Honors) and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baker College, completing a decade-long educational journey that began in 2013 and culminated with her BSN in 2023. Her clinical background includes bedside care, pre- and post-operative support, complex nursing procedures, sterile technique, medication administration, and detailed patient charting. Having remained on the same critical care unit for six years, she has developed deep familiarity with high-acuity patients and thrives in fast-paced, team-oriented environments. In recognition of her excellence in compassionate care, she was honored with the DAISY Award in 2025.

Jennifer’s calling to nursing was sparked by helping care for her grandmother during hospice—an experience that shaped her commitment to serving patients during their most vulnerable moments. She describes herself as outgoing, driven, and determined, guided by her personal motto: “Be yourself and never give up on your dream.” A proud patient advocate and self-proclaimed fitness enthusiast, Jennifer channels her energy and discipline from both her professional and personal life into delivering high-quality, empathetic care that helps patients heal and return home healthier.
