Jennifer Kelly, APRN-CNP

Jennifer Kelly, MSN, FNP-BC is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in urology, with a focus on female urinary incontinence. She currently practices at Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. in Columbus, Ohio, where she combines evidence-based care with a patient-centered approach, emphasizing follow-up, outcomes, and collaborative treatment planning. Jennifer is passionate about empowering patients and providing care that improves quality of life. Jennifer began her nursing career in 2011 as a Patient Care Assistant at the Cleveland Clinic, specializing in colorectal surgery. She progressed to Registered Nurse roles at Cleveland Clinic and later at Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital & Solove Research Institute, gaining extensive experience in oncology, gynecology, and urologic surgical care. Her clinical experience has given her a strong foundation in complex patient management and surgical support. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Cleveland State University in 2013 and completed her Master of Science in Family Practice Nursing at Ohio University in 2018. Jennifer became a licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Ohio in 2019 and has maintained certifications including AANP and Basic Life Support (BLS). Since joining Ohio State University Physicians in 2021 as a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Urology, Jennifer has developed a true passion for treating female urinary incontinence. She works closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to provide tailored treatment plans, including patient education, device management, and follow-up care to optimize outcomes. In addition, she has collaborated with Medtronic as a Distinguished Interstim Therapy provider, presenting education and combining clinical expertise with education and advocacy. Jennifer’s professional philosophy centers on relationship-based, patient-focused care. She values active listening, patient feedback, and collaboration in decision-making, ensuring that each patient feels heard, understood, and supported throughout their care journey.
