Jeneifer Threadcraft, MS, LPC, NCC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and trauma specialist with over a decade of experience in mental health, family counseling, and suicide prevention. She holds a Master of Science in Psychology and a post-graduate degree in Trauma from Grand Canyon University. Jeneifer is the founder of Positive People Taking Charge, a branch of Positive Peering, Inc., where she leads initiatives in trauma intervention, domestic violence support, and holistic family counseling. Known as “the Purple Lady,” she has earned a reputation for her compassionate, faith-driven approach to therapy and community service.

Jeneifer’s journey into counseling began unexpectedly while working with pediatrician Dr. Donna Marie Brown. As a teen mother herself, she connected naturally with youth who shared their struggles, inspiring her to start group sessions that grew into a lifelong calling. She quickly realized that effective therapy must address the entire family, as the wellbeing of children is closely tied to that of their parents. Guided by her faith and a sense of purpose, she pursued formal credentials to expand her ability to help families in need.

Throughout her career, Jeneifer has been deeply involved in community advocacy and professional networks. She serves on the Georgia Murder-Suicide Response Network Team and the Georgia Commission of Family Violence, supporting families affected by trauma and violence. She has also led programs for youth, adolescents, and parents, combining her clinical expertise with motivational speaking and educational workshops. Her work emphasizes the importance of mental wellness, resilience, and holistic approaches to healing.

Beyond her clinical work, Jeneifer is an author and mentor. She is writing a four-part book series titled You Don’t Know My Story: To Heaven with Love, with the first book scheduled for release on Mother’s Day. Through her writing, community programs, and nonprofit leadership, she continues to empower individuals and families to overcome trauma, embrace hope, and transform their lives. Her dedication reflects a lifelong commitment to faith, service, and the belief that healing is possible for every family.
