He has participated in MS fundraising walks since childhood, a passion that continues through his team, Cruzin’ For a Cure, which supports research and awareness through the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Educationally, Jamil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Brooklyn College and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Kingsborough Community College. Outside of his professional and advocacy work, he is an Eagle Scout, a Knight of Columbus, and an Assistant Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America. Jamil is also authoring a book chronicling his personal journey with multiple sclerosis, exemplifying his commitment to turning personal challenges into purpose-driven service. What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?

I deeply enjoy working with children who have developmental disabilities and helping them navigate their daily challenges. Being able to support their growth, build trust with families, and witness progress firsthand brings me fulfillment every day.
