Q

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?

What I enjoy most is making a tangible impact on people’s lives. I need to see the difference my work makes, which is why I was drawn to oncology and medical diagnostics. My perspective on patient care comes from a personal experience—I was in a serious car accident at 16, spending five days in a coma and six days on life support. Surviving that experience gave me a profound sense of gratitude and a desire to give back. Every patient I work with is treated as if they were a member of my own family, following what we call the “mom rule.” No case is just a number on a screen; we carefully review every detail to ensure patients receive the highest standard of care.
