Isabella Leedham, PT, DPT

Isabella “Izzie” Leedham, DPT, is a compassionate pediatric physical therapist with The Valens Group, dedicated to helping children develop mobility, confidence, and independence. With a warm, playful, and patient-centered approach, Izzie brings expertise and empathy into each session, working to celebrate both the small and large milestones in a child’s therapeutic journey. Her goal is to create a safe, supportive space that empowers young clients and their families to grow together.

Originally from Louisburg, Kansas, Izzie earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas before moving to Chicago to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Northwestern University. During her pediatric clinical rotation in Denver, she discovered her passion for working with children—drawn in by their resilience, creativity, and boundless energy. That experience solidified her commitment to pediatric physical therapy, guiding her career path to where she feels she can make the biggest impact.

Izzie’s therapeutic philosophy is rooted in collaboration. She believes that open communication and active partnership with families are essential to helping each child reach their full potential. Outside of the clinic, Izzie enjoys exploring new coffee shops in Chicago, spending time at the lake with friends, reading, and embarking on outdoor adventures—activities that reflect her energetic, curious, and caring nature.
