Holly M. Newberry, RN, CDONA

Holly Newberry is a dedicated nursing professional with over 12 years of experience in long-term care. She began her career after graduating from the Galen School of Nursing in St. Petersburg in 2013 and obtaining her RN license in 2014. Holly has built a reputation for her clinical expertise, strong leadership skills, and commitment to improving the quality of life for her patients. She is also a Certified Director of Nursing Administration, demonstrating her advanced knowledge in both patient care and organizational management.

Currently, Holly serves as the Director of Nursing at Mission Healthcare, overseeing a staff of 56 professionals. In this role, she ensures smooth operations, staff development, and high-quality patient care. Under her leadership, her facility received the AHCA Silver Award for excellence in 2025, a reflection of her dedication to maintaining rigorous standards and fostering a positive environment for both patients and staff. Holly is also an active member of the National Director of Nursing Association, including the Georgia chapter, keeping her connected with industry best practices and professional development opportunities.

Outside of her professional life, Holly enjoys giving back to her community and supports charitable causes such as St. Jude’s. She also values personal wellness and enjoys activities like traveling, cooking, and hiking. Holly attributes her success to a deep desire to enhance the lives of others and continually strives to provide better care and leadership in every role she undertakes.
