Heather Ratcliffe, LPN

Heather Ratcliffe is a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Assistant Healthcare Coordinator at the Engagement Center for Creative Aging in Blacksburg, Virginia. With over a decade of experience in hands-on, compassionate care, Heather is committed to supporting participants and their families with empathy, respect, and unwavering dedication. Her work brings her genuine fulfillment as she positively impacts the lives of those she serves.

In her role as a Lead Nurse, Heather has trained and mentored fellow nursing staff, ensuring high standards of clinical practice and compassionate patient care. Her leadership reflects a commitment not only to excellent patient outcomes but also to the professional growth and development of her colleagues. Prior to her current role, she gained extensive experience at Lewis Gale Physicians, further honing her clinical skills and expertise in patient care.

Family is central to Heather’s life. She is a proud mother of five children—four daughters and a son—and enjoys cheering on her daughters at softball games. Outside of family activities, she is an animal lover, sharing her home with two playful boxers, a cat, and a rabbit. Heather’s personal and professional life is defined by compassion, dedication, and joy in serving others.
