Heather Ferguson, MSN, FNP-BC

Heather Ferguson, MSN, FNP-BC is a compassionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with over seven years of direct patient care experience. Known for her strong critical thinking skills and ability to remain calm under pressure, Heather is highly proficient in emergency situations and procedures. Her commitment to providing patient- and family-centered care drives her approach to medicine, ensuring that every individual receives personalized attention and support.

Heather began her nursing career as a Lead Resident Aide at Brownstown Forest View Assisted Living, where she gained hands-on experience in patient care and leadership. She then advanced to a Registered Nurse at Beaumont Health, developing expertise in emergency nursing, first aid, and acute care across diverse patient populations. Her experience also includes travel nursing assignments at Saint Joseph Hospital and Mercy Hospital Fairfield, where she further honed her skills in telemetry, basic life support (BLS), and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).

In 2024, Heather earned her Master’s degree in Family Practice Nursing from the University of Michigan, achieving her Family Nurse Practitioner certification (FNP-BC) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Her educational journey, combined with her extensive clinical experience, has equipped her to provide high-quality primary care and build meaningful rapport with patients during even the most challenging situations.

Currently, Heather serves as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Monroe Family Care PLLC, where she delivers comprehensive primary care services with empathy, precision, and professionalism. Outside of her clinical responsibilities, she continues to prioritize professional development and is dedicated to advancing the standards of care within her community.
