Hannah Hernandez

Hannah Hernandez, M.S., SLP, is a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with extensive experience supporting children and families across multiple clinical and educational settings. She currently provides therapy through The Stepping Stones Group, LLC, works at Prairie Park Elementary School, and is an active member of the ASHA Kansas Chapter, demonstrating her commitment to professional growth and advocacy in the field. Hannah specializes in articulation and language development, creating individualized, evidence-based interventions that enhance communication, language skills, and social development, while collaborating closely with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for each student and client.

Hannah began her professional journey as a caregiver and early childhood aide, developing a strong foundation in child development and hands-on care. Her roles at The Connect Church, Hilltop Child Development Center, and various summer programs allowed her to cultivate patience, empathy, and effective communication—skills that continue to inform her approach as a clinician. Since joining The Stepping Stones Group, she has contributed to programs in both Honolulu, Hawaii, and Lawrence, Kansas, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to serving diverse communities.

She earned her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Rockhurst University and completed her undergraduate studies in Speech-Language Pathology at The University of Kansas, where she was actively involved in Sigma Kappa and Medlife. Hannah combines her academic knowledge with practical experience to deliver thoughtful, client-centered care. Outside of her professional work, she is passionate about supporting families and fostering developmental growth in young children, leveraging her expertise to make meaningful, lasting impacts in her community.
