Haley Morgan Hunt, BSN, RN
Haley Morgan Hunt, BSN, RN, is a dedicated and compassionate registered nurse based in Amarillo, Texas, with nearly three years of experience as an RN and over seven years in healthcare. Beginning her career at the age of 18 as a hospital tech, she gained foundational experience in patient care, eventually earning her CNA certification in high school and working in home health before transitioning to the hospital setting. Haley has built expertise in both med-surg and emergency nursing, with a surgical focus on CABG, lobectomies, and urology patients, as well as trauma care in the ER.
Haley is deeply committed to supporting the next generation of nurses. She serves as a preceptor for nursing students from Texas Tech University, Texas A&M, and Amarillo College, guiding them through clinical experiences with patience, knowledge, and encouragement. Known for her ability to provide both high-quality clinical care and meaningful mentorship, Haley fosters learning while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care. Her peers and students recognize her dedication, professionalism, and natural aptitude for teaching.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Haley is motivated by personal experience and empathy. Diagnosed with Crohn’s disease during her late teens, she understands firsthand the challenges patients face within the healthcare system, which strengthens her advocacy and compassion for those in her care. Outside of work, Haley enjoys reading, playing tennis, participating in a local softball league, hiking in Palo Duro Canyon, traveling, and spending quality time with friends. Her commitment to excellence, education, and community continues to shape her journey as a nurse.
