Dr. Grace Gay, DNP, MSN, RN, is a senior nursing leader with over 18 years of progressive experience in quality improvement, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and clinical informatics. She has a proven ability to translate evidence-based practices, data insights, and regulatory mandates into measurable outcomes across complex healthcare organizations. Dr. Gay is recognized as a trusted partner to executive leadership, physicians, and frontline teams, known for her ability to implement standardized processes and foster interdisciplinary collaboration to advance patient care and organizational performance.

Currently, Dr. Gay serves as a consultant with Quality Healthcare by Design, following her tenure as Vice President of Quality & Patient Safety at Articularis Healthcare Group, Inc., where she led enterprise-wide quality and safety initiatives for rheumatology practices. Her leadership experience also includes roles at Westchester Medical Center and Advanced Physician Services, where she directed clinical informatics projects, optimized EHR workflows, and implemented performance improvement plans that enhanced compliance, patient outcomes, and provider engagement. She combines her clinical expertise with a strong proficiency in technology and data to design patient-centered quality initiatives across ambulatory and infusion settings.

Dr. Gay earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Sacred Heart University, where she received the Outstanding Doctor of Nursing Practice Project Award. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Fairfield University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University. Her professional affiliations include the Rheumatology Nurses Society (RNS) and Rheumatology for Advanced Practice Providers (RHAPP), reflecting her ongoing commitment to advancing nursing practice, patient safety, and quality care in specialized and complex healthcare environments.
