Giselley Munoz, RN

Giselley Munoz is a Registered Nurse at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, where she has been practicing since November 2025. She is a bilingual healthcare professional fluent in English and Spanish, known for her strong clinical judgment, calm presence, and patient-centered approach to care. She holds certifications in phlebotomy and Basic Life Support (BLS), and is committed to delivering safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care.

She earned her Registered Nurse (RN) degree and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performing Arts from Lehman College, part of the City University of New York (CUNY) system. Her background in both healthcare and the performing arts has shaped her ability to communicate effectively, remain composed under pressure, and connect meaningfully with patients and families in critical care settings.

Prior to becoming an RN, Giselley gained valuable clinical experience as a Medical Assistant and Phlebotomist in the dermatology department at Weill Cornell Medicine. In that role, she supported high patient volumes, assisted in procedures, performed venipuncture and specimen collection, and became proficient in Epic electronic medical record documentation. This foundation strengthened her clinical skills and reinforced her passion for nursing, particularly in acute and specialty care environments.

Currently, she works in a med-surg setting at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and is preparing to expand into research nursing. Her decision to join NYP was deeply personal, as she was born and raised just a few blocks from the hospital and has strong emotional ties to the community it serves. Inspired by her experiences in healthcare and the compassionate care she witnessed firsthand, she is dedicated to advocating for patients, advancing her clinical expertise, and making a meaningful impact in every patient interaction.
