Giana Warner, MHC
Giana Warner, MHC, is an emerging leader in the field of mental health, bringing dedication, empathy, and a strong clinical foundation to her role as a counselor at Northeast Health Services. With four years of experience in outpatient care, she has built a reputation for supporting individuals across the lifespan, from adolescents to geriatric patients. Her practice emphasizes connection and consistency, providing in-person care tailored to the unique needs of each client. Warner specializes in treating depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, anxiety, and domestic violence, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and trauma-focused cognitive therapy, while also integrating psychodynamic theory, solution-focused therapy, and emotional freedom techniques.
Warner’s commitment to mental health is informed by both professional training and personal experience. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Framingham State University, where she was active in the SciCai alumni association and the honors society. Currently working toward independent licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts, she continues to prioritize professional growth and clinical excellence. Her path into counseling was shaped by her father’s mental health challenges and incarceration, experiences that inspired her to support others navigating trauma, mental illness, and complex emotional experiences. Her clinical journey has included working with children transitioning from inpatient to outpatient care, reinforcing her belief in early intervention, continuity of care, and community-based mental health initiatives.
Outside of her clinical work, Warner remains actively engaged in her community. She coaches middle school soccer, enjoys reading, and maintains a focus on physical and mental well-being through exercise, swimming, and strong relationships with family and friends. Looking ahead, she plans to open a private practice serving adults and adolescents, emphasizing accessibility through broad insurance acceptance, and hopes to contribute to academia by teaching psychology at the university level. Through her work, mentorship, and vision for the future, Warner represents a new generation of mental health professionals committed to compassion, accessibility, and meaningful impact.
