Folusho Ogunfiditimi, DM, MPH, PA-C
Folusho Ogunfiditimi, DM, MPH, PA-C, is a transformative healthcare executive, physician associate leader, educator, and advocate with 27 years of experience in clinical practice and healthcare system leadership. He began practicing as a Physician Assistant in 1999 and has spent the entirety of his clinical career primarily in urology, while also gaining additional experience in urgent care and general surgery. He maintains an active clinical practice, which allows him to remain closely connected to frontline care and the daily realities faced by healthcare providers.
In addition to his clinical work, Folusho has built an extensive career in healthcare administration and executive leadership. He has served as an administrator for clinical practices and interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician associates, partnering with health systems to improve care delivery, patient access, and operational efficiency. His leadership philosophy centers on enabling providers to practice at the top of their training and education while improving patient outcomes and experience. He currently serves as an Administrative Leader for Advanced Practice Providers at Montage Medical Group and is an Adjunct Faculty member in Butler University’s Doctor of Medical Sciences program, where he teaches the business of medicine, including healthcare finance, reimbursement models, accountable care organizations, and value-based care.
Folusho is also deeply engaged in national healthcare policy, education, and thought leadership. He serves as the AAPA liaison to the AMA Relative Value Scale Update Committee (RUC) and is the sole Physician Associate representative on the Nurse Practitioner Accreditation and Education Board. He has published multiple journal articles, is currently contributing to a urology textbook chapter, and continues to advance dialogue on healthcare transformation through his Substack podcast, Vitals and Voices, which focuses on workforce challenges and system redesign. In addition, he is a founding member of FENIC Public Health and Education in Nigeria, a nonprofit organization supporting education and health initiatives, including a school breakfast program aimed at improving community wellbeing.
