Faith Obiora
Faith Obiora is a dedicated and compassionate nursing student currently pursuing her degree at Kingsborough Community College, where she is expected to graduate in 2027. Her journey into healthcare began long before her formal education, shaped by her natural desire to help others and her meaningful experiences supporting family through illness. After caring for her brother during his battle with cancer, Faith discovered a deep interest in oncology and a strong commitment to serving patients and their families during their most vulnerable moments.
Before entering her nursing program, Faith spent two years interning in hospital settings, gaining valuable exposure to patient care, clinical environments, and the realities of healthcare work. She is continuing to strengthen her foundation by pursuing additional certifications, including HHA or CNA training, and she already holds her Basic Life Support (BLS) credential. Her hands-on experience and passion for learning reflect a dedication to developing the skills and knowledge needed to become a highly capable nurse.
Faith is motivated by empathy, resilience, and a genuine love for caring for others, values that guide both her academic journey and her personal growth. Outside of her studies, she enjoys volunteering, participating in sports, and reading—activities that keep her engaged, grounded, and connected to her community. With determination and a strong sense of purpose, Faith is building a promising future in nursing and hopes to make a meaningful impact in the lives of the patients she will serve.
