Fabrizio Galimberti

Dr. Fabrizio Galimberti serves as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Miami, bringing expertise in both clinical practice and research. He earned his PhD in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Dartmouth College, where he focused on investigating the Hedgehog signaling pathway's role in epithelial cancers. Following his medical degree from the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, he completed his dermatology residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami. His clinical and research focus centers on chronic inflammatory skin conditions, particularly psoriasis and atopic dermatitis, with special attention to their systemic effects beyond the skin. He has particular interest in understanding how biologic therapies may impact organs other than their primary target and explores how comprehensive treatment approaches can benefit patients with chronic dermatological conditions. Currently, he leads and participates in various clinical and mechanistic research studies examining chronic inflammatory skin disorders.
