Erica E. Paul, RN
Erica Paul, RN is a dedicated hospice nurse with a strong foundation in patient-centered care and a passion for supporting individuals and families through the end-of-life journey. With experience across home health, developmental centers, and hospital settings, she has honed her ability to manage patient caseloads independently while providing compassionate, emotionally intelligent care. Erica’s approach emphasizes empathy, critical thinking, and advocacy, ensuring that every patient feels respected, supported, and safe during vulnerable moments.
Her professional journey began with a solid academic foundation in health and science, earning an Associate of Science in Biology and another in Nursing Science from Salt Lake Community College, alongside studies in Kinesiology and Exercise Science at the University of Utah. Erica’s early career included roles as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Huntsman Cancer Institute and as a Registered Nurse in various healthcare environments, where she developed a deep understanding of the complexities of patient care and the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration.
Outside of her clinical work, Erica is passionate about personal growth and wellness, embracing hobbies such as hiking, music, and dance. She enjoys spending quality time with her two dogs and finds balance through creative and outdoor activities. Erica’s ultimate goal is to advance her nursing career by becoming a Nurse Practitioner, continuing her commitment to compassionate, holistic care while empowering patients and their families through every stage of life.

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
I find the most fulfillment in providing compassionate care to patients and supporting them through the processes surrounding death and dying. It is incredibly rewarding to help people and their families navigate these difficult moments with dignity and respect.
