With more than 18 years of experience in healthcare leadership, she specializes in diagnostic imaging operations, clinical excellence, and strategic growth across multi-site healthcare systems. Her work focuses on aligning physician services, optimizing hospital operations, and advancing patient-centered care within complex clinical environments. She holds a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration from Oklahoma State University, along with dual master’s degrees in Business Administration and Healthcare Administration. Throughout her career, Dr. Arndt has led initiatives in value-based care, population health, and Graduate Medical Education (GME), driving operational transformation and multi-million-dollar growth while improving patient outcomes. She is currently working on a second book that will focus specifically on leadership in the healthcare space, addressing how to lead with purpose, understanding how decisions affect both providers and patients, and how to avoid burnout while staying strong in challenging situations that may be beyond one's control.

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
What I love most about working in diagnostic imaging is that we are literally saving lives every day. I'm a firm believer in screenings and catching disease early, before it becomes cancer or something more serious where there's not much that providers can do for the patient. Imaging is such an important piece of diagnosing a patient because a provider can only do so much without the images. That's where you detect disease, and being able to catch it early and prevent it from progressing is what drives me. We work on a lot of preventative scanning to be able to detect cancer earlier and save lives, and that's what I truly love about it.
