Dr. Ellen Malone, DHA, MSCRA, is a highly accomplished clinical research professional and healthcare educator based in Calumet City, Illinois. Currently serving as Clinical Research Manager at the University of Chicago, Dr. Malone brings more than a decade of experience advancing medical research, regulatory compliance, and clinical operations. Her expertise spans oncology, clinical research administration, and patient safety. Before joining the University of Chicago, Dr. Malone spent seven years at Northwestern University, where she served as Senior Clinical Research Study Coordinator, overseeing multiple studies and managing teams to ensure excellence in data integrity, patient safety, and research compliance. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Certified Phlebotomist at Northwestern Medicine, where she played a vital role in oncology laboratory operations, staff training, and quality assurance. In addition to her clinical roles, Dr. Malone is a dedicated educator, who served as a Phlebotomy Instructor at Elim Outreach Training Center, where she mentors future healthcare professionals with an emphasis on both technical proficiency and ethical practice. She also served as a Biology, Chemistry, Physics, ACT and SAT Prep Teacher for the Upward Bounds Program and School District 205.

Dr. Malone earned her Doctor of Health Administration (DHA) and Master of Science in Clinical Research Administration (MSCRA) from Walden University, where she was inducted into the Golden Key International Honour Society and the National Society of Leadership and Success. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Pre-Medicine from Auguatana College in Rock Island, IL.
