Ella Jones is a dedicated and driven healthcare professional currently working as a Medical Assistant at Duke Primary Care in Raleigh, North Carolina. A recent graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology, concentrating in Medicine, Ella holds her Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) credential from the National Healthcareer Association. She is actively preparing for PA school by studying for the GRE, combining her strong foundation in science with her commitment to patient care.

Throughout her academic and professional journey, Ella has gained extensive experience in clinical and research settings. She has contributed as a student researcher and assistant at East Carolina University, assisting with stress testing, blood pressure monitoring, and exercise protocols, while also supporting graduate students with data management. Her internships at ECU Health’s Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Clinic and roles in early childhood education and hospitality have honed her skills in patient communication, teamwork, leadership, and organization, making her a versatile and well-rounded professional.
