Eduward’s path into healthcare began after immigrating to the United States from La Ceiba, Honduras, at the age of 17. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Eduward is known for delivering culturally competent, compassionate care tailored to each patient’s unique background and needs. In addition to his clinical work, Eduward serves as a preceptor for nursing students, mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals. What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
What I enjoy most about the work I do is seeing people's faces when things are going right, when the treatment that we're doing starts working, and they're going back to their self - not normal, but back to their self. This is especially meaningful to me working in psychiatry, where I can witness these transformations in my patients as they respond to treatment and begin their journey back to wellness.
