Dustin Burgess, LPN

Dustin Burgess, LPN, is a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse with over 13 years of experience delivering compassionate, high-quality care across long-term care, home health, and clinical settings. Currently at Elk Valley Healthcare, he specializes in patient care management, administering medications and treatments, educating patients and families on disease management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Dustin’s commitment to providing comfort, dignity, and trust to those he serves is at the core of his professional philosophy.

In addition to his nursing career, Dustin serves as a Captain for the Cumberland County Rescue Squad, where he leads emergency response operations and provides lifesaving support to the community. In this role, he has developed strong leadership, crisis management, and team coordination skills, while also serving as a Ropes and Diving Instructor, training team members in technical rescue operations and safety protocols. His volunteer work reflects a deep commitment to community service and public safety.
