Q

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?

What I love most about nursing is the operating room - I fell so passionately in love with it as a student nurse. I went into the operating room for two days during my training and it became everything to me. That passion has sustained me throughout my 54-year career. Being part of the open heart cardiothoracic team and working with advanced technology like the DaVinci robot allows me to make a real difference in patients' lives at critical moments.
