Doris Reid-Hart, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC
Doris Reid-Hart, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, is a dual-certified Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in healthcare. She is a dedicated advocate for patients across the lifespan, providing compassionate, goal-directed care that addresses both physical and mental health needs. In addition to her clinical expertise, Doris is a certified CPR/BLS instructor through the American Heart Association, training medical professionals, businesses, and students in life-saving skills.
Currently, Doris serves as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in outpatient and partial hospitalization settings, treating patients with serious mental health conditions and co-occurring substance use disorders. She works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive resources, including community support, housing assistance, and intensive in-home services, helping patients achieve stability and an optimal quality of life.
In addition to her clinical practice, Doris is the founder of One Hart Health Solutions, LLC, a mobile service that offers convenient basic life support classes and sports physicals for individuals and groups. She also serves as a telepsych mental health provider for adolescent and adult patients at Thriveworks, helping those with mild to moderate mental health conditions access care from the comfort of their homes. Her commitment to education and mentorship is reflected in her past role as an adjunct faculty member at Chamberlain University, where she guided accelerated baccalaureate nursing students in clinical practice.
Doris is actively involved in professional organizations, including the Metrolina Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and has been recognized with multiple clinical awards, including the Clinical Ladder Recipient. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nursing Science at The University of Alabama, she continues to advance her knowledge and leadership in nursing, while maintaining her unwavering dedication to patient-centered care.
