Dolly Ann Colby, RN, BSN
Dolly Colby is a highly skilled Labor & Delivery R.N. B.S.N. with over 18 years of experience in providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated expertise in pre-operative and post-operative care, medication and IV administration, and direct patient management, ensuring the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of those she serves. Her dedication to excellence has earned her recognition in POWER Magazine and the America’s Best in Medicine awards.
Dolly earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from San Francisco State University, where she laid the foundation for a career characterized by clinical expertise and a strong commitment to patient care. She has obtained multiple certifications, including BLS/ACLS, NRP, PALS, as well as specialized training in hormone replacement procedures, Botox, fillers, and semaglutide protocols, reflecting her dedication to staying current with evolving healthcare practices.
Since 2007, Dolly has served as an R.N. B.S.N. in Labor & Delivery at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, California. There, she has enhanced patient experiences by delivering holistic care, conducting thorough assessments, and collaborating closely with physicians to ensure timely and effective interventions. She has also mentored new nursing staff and served as a preceptor for nursing students, demonstrating her passion for education and professional development within the nursing field.
In addition to her hospital work, Dolly contributed to Biohackr Health in Palo Alto, California, from 2022 to 2023, where she helped introduce semaglutide treatments to the clinic. She provided leadership, cross-trained fellow R.N.s, and administered hormone replacement therapies and cosmetic procedures while promoting preventive health measures. Her work not only improved patient outcomes but also fostered strong patient satisfaction and clinic productivity.
