Dolly Ann Colby, RN, BSN
Dolly A. Colby, RN, BSN, is an experienced registered nurse with more than 19 years of dedication to patient-centered care, primarily in Labor and Delivery. She currently serves at Sequoia Hospital – Dignity Health in Redwood City, California, where she provides compassionate, high-quality care to mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth process. Known for her calm presence and strong clinical judgment, Dolly excels in patient assessment, critical decision-making, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and positive outcomes for families during one of life’s most important moments.
Throughout her career, Dolly has built a reputation for combining clinical expertise with genuine compassion. In addition to her extensive hospital-based experience, she has also worked in wellness and clinical care settings, including hormone replacement therapy, injectable treatments, and semaglutide-based weight management services. Her broad clinical background allows her to approach patient care holistically while remaining committed to advancing her skills and staying current with evolving healthcare practices.
Beyond her clinical work, Dolly is passionate about mentoring fellow nurses and fostering supportive, collaborative healthcare environments. What I enjoy most about practicing medicine is working alongside my team, who feel more like family than colleagues. The strong sense of collaboration, trust, and support we share allows us to provide the highest level of care for our patients while also creating a positive and encouraging work environment. Being part of a team that genuinely supports one another makes the work deeply meaningful and rewarding.
