Dr. David Ajibade, MBBS, MMgt
Dr. David Ajibade, MBBS, MMgt is a physician, educator, and military veteran dedicated to advancing brain health and neurological care globally. He is the founder and medical director of Brain and Body Solutions, Ltd., an integrated health center in Abuja, Nigeria, and the executive director of Brain and Body Foundation LLC, a non-profit organization operating in both Nigeria and the U.S. Dr. Ajibade helps patients, families, and healthcare leaders tackle complex neurological challenges, from neurodevelopmental disorders in children to neurodegenerative diseases in adults, through science-backed, practical solutions that work even in resource-limited settings.
A pioneer in the use of nutraceuticals and nutrient-based therapies, Dr. Ajibade has treated thousands of patients since 2013, achieving remarkable improvements in mental, neurological, and physical health. He is currently leading a landmark study on the use of Vitamin D3 in the treatment of sickle cell disease, with early results suggesting transformative implications for patient care in Nigeria and globally. Through his innovative Building Strength Approach, hundreds of patients have regained cognitive and physical function, demonstrating the brain’s capacity to heal when provided the right care, environment, and nutrition.
Dr. Ajibade is also a prominent educator and media host, creating nationally broadcast programs such as Your Health in Your Hands, which raise awareness about preventive health strategies, chronic neurological conditions, and brain health advocacy. His work has earned him numerous awards, including recognition among the Top 100 in Health and Wellness, Best Health TV Show in Africa, and Nigeria’s Most Respected CEO Award, as well as features in Marquis Who’s Who in America and Baltimore Magazine’s Game Changers Edition.
Beyond his clinical and media work, Dr. Ajibade is deeply committed to public health, research, and policy advocacy. He collaborates with governments, international organizations, and research institutions to improve the treatment and management of conditions such as sickle cell disease and brain disorders. Outside of medicine, he is a devout Christian who enjoys pickleball, chess, travel, and movies, bringing the same passion and dedication to his personal life as he does to his professional endeavors.

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
What I enjoy most about practicing medicine is helping patients regain their health and hope, especially in cases where they or their families felt there were no more options.
