Dan Zeman, MS

Dan Zeman, M.S., is a dedicated Exercise Physiologist and author with over 40 years of experience improving the health and wellness of Americans. After earning his Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of North Texas, Dan began his career working with cardiac and diabetic patients in clinical settings. Over the years, his expertise has expanded to a diverse range of clients, from professional athletes—including players from the MN Vikings and MN Timberwolves, 3-time Tour de France winner Greg LeMond, Olympic mountain bike racers, and wheelchair marathon racers—to aging adults seeking to maintain health and vitality.
In addition to his clinical work, Dan is a published author, having written You're Too Old to Die Young, a guide aimed at aging male Baby Boomers. The book serves as a wake-up call for men to take control of their health and embrace longevity with dignity. Through his writing, Dan encourages the Baby Boomer generation to make informed, evidence-based choices about physical activity, nutrition, and lifestyle habits that support a healthier, longer life. His expertise has also led to numerous speaking engagements, radio interviews, and television appearances dating back to 1984, sharing his insights on fitness, wellness, and healthy aging.
Today, Dan continues to design individualized exercise programs while shifting his focus toward creating evidence-based Active Aging programs. His goal is to educate, motivate, and empower older adults to maintain physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being as they age. Beyond his clinical and authorial pursuits, Dan serves as a council member for the True Health Initiative, a global campaign promoting lifestyle-based medicine and the prevention of chronic disease. His lifelong commitment to health, education, and fitness has made him a respected leader and advocate for wellness across generations.
