Dr. Collin Liu, M.D.

Dr. Collin Liu is a Skull Base Neurosurgery Clinical Instructor at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, and a highly trained neurosurgeon with nearly a decade of progressive experience in complex cranial and cerebrovascular care. He is recognized for his expertise in microsurgery, endovascular neurosurgery, and skull base techniques, with a strong focus on advancing innovative, minimally invasive approaches to brain and vascular disorders. Dr. Liu earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Georgetown University School of Medicine, following a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology from Georgetown University. He completed his neurosurgery residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he trained extensively in complex cranial, spinal, and cerebrovascular procedures. Following residency, Dr. Liu pursued advanced subspecialty training through multiple prestigious fellowships, including Skull Base and Microneurosurgery at Weill Cornell Medicine, Cerebrovascular Skull Base Neurosurgery at UTHealth Houston, and Neuroendovascular Surgery at the University at Buffalo Neurosurgery (UBNS).
