Clifford Norman, LMHC, is a compassionate mental health professional and the owner of Guardian Way LLC, where he provides therapeutic services focused on grief, loss, and emotional resilience. With extensive experience as a therapist, Clifford creates safe and supportive spaces for clients to process complex emotions, navigate trauma, and build coping skills. His client-centered approach emphasizes empathy, understanding, and individualized care to help clients honor their losses while finding hope and strength.

Prior to establishing his practice, Clifford served as a therapist at Valley Oaks Health for over five years, gaining experience across diverse clinical populations and enhancing his skills in emotional support and client guidance. He holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC). Clifford also combines his expertise with creative educational tools, including authoring children’s books to foster emotional learning and resilience in young readers.

Beyond his clinical work, Clifford is deeply committed to helping clients transform their grief into personal growth. He incorporates strategies to manage grief and loss while encouraging clients to rebuild joy, form healthy connections, and embrace life with renewed purpose. Outside of work, Clifford enjoys sports, fishing, picnicking, and traveling, and draws strength and motivation from his mother, spirituality, and a personal philosophy of perseverance.

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?

I enjoy helping clients navigate the pain of grief and loss and witnessing their growth as they build resilience and find hope. Supporting someone through difficult emotions and helping them rediscover strength is the most rewarding part of my work.
