Rev. Christopher Times is a Mental Health Therapist and LCDC-I with more than a decade of experience helping individuals and couples move from trauma toward healing and meaningful change. He is the founder and sole practitioner of Agape Marriage and Family Counseling, LLC, where he integrates evidence-based clinical approaches with spiritual principles to provide holistic, client-centered care.

Rev. Times specializes in trauma treatment, including childhood trauma, adult trauma, and complex trauma. He also works extensively with dual diagnosis cases, supporting clients who experience both mental health disorders—such as major depressive disorder—and substance use challenges. In addition, he provides marriage counseling and anger management support, helping clients build healthier relationships and emotional regulation skills.

A graduate of Eastern Mennonite University, where he earned a Master of Arts in Counseling with a focus in Pastoral Studies, Rev. Times developed a strong foundation in trauma-informed care. His master’s thesis centered on early childhood trauma and treatment outcomes. During and after graduate school, he gained hands-on clinical experience in hospitals, emergency departments, and private practice settings, refining his expertise in crisis response and therapeutic intervention.

He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies from College of Biblical Studies - Houston, which informs his distinctive integration of faith and psychology. Rev. Times believes that addressing both clinical and spiritual dimensions enhances therapeutic outcomes. He meets clients where they are spiritually—whether deeply rooted in faith or exploring it for the first time—and incorporates that dimension thoughtfully into the healing process.

As both a clinician and a childhood trauma survivor, Rev. Times brings lived experience, empathy, and authenticity to his work. His approach emphasizes compassion, accountability, and practical solutions that empower clients to move forward.

In addition to his clinical practice, Rev. Times hosts the Agape Marriage and Family Counseling podcast, where he engages in conversations with mental health professionals from across the United States and internationally. The podcast addresses topics including trauma recovery, faith integration, emotional wellness, and relationship health, and is available on major streaming platforms.

Through therapy, teaching, and public speaking, Rev. Christopher Times remains committed to empowering individuals to heal, grow, and build lives grounded in emotional and spiritual wholeness.
