Christina is a dedicated licensed practical nurse with over 43 years of experience in high-complexity pediatric care. Her expertise spans ventilator-dependent patients, wound care, and hyperbaric nursing, with a strong focus on supporting children with severe injuries or chronic conditions. Known for her hands-on, compassionate approach, she has guided families through some of the most challenging healthcare scenarios, including managing neuroplasticity-based therapies for children recovering from brain injuries and providing home care support for serious burns. A lifelong learner, Christina began her nursing journey at the age of 17 after early exposure to medical training alongside her mother. Her formative experiences caring for polio patients in her hometown of Broussard, Louisiana, instilled a deep sense of empathy and resilience that has shaped her approach to nursing. She has earned multiple achievement awards throughout her career, particularly for her work in med-surg nursing, and continues to be recognized by peers and families alike for her professionalism, skill, and dedication to improving patient outcomes.
