Dr. Christian Bonner is a dedicated Family Medicine resident at LSU Health Shreveport, currently serving on the Monroe Rural Track in Winnsboro, Louisiana. With a strong foundation in both clinical and community-based medicine, Dr. Bonner is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in rural and underserved settings. He brings hands-on experience in adult and pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and advanced life support skills, reflecting his readiness to respond effectively in critical care situations.

Prior to residency, Dr. Bonner earned his Doctor of Medicine from LSU Health Shreveport, where he was recognized for his commitment to humanism in medicine as a member of the Gold Humanism Honors Society and contributed actively as Treasurer of the Family Medicine Interest Group. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Chemistry minor from the University of Louisiana Monroe, where he participated in research on bacteriophages and was inducted into Phi Alpha Theta and Alpha Epsilon Delta honor societies. His academic and research experiences underscore a lifelong dedication to scientific inquiry and evidence-based medical practice.

Beyond his medical training, Dr. Bonner has demonstrated leadership and service in his community. He served as a volunteer firefighter and fire captain with Franklin Parish Fire District 4 and coordinated charitable initiatives with the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home. These experiences reflect his commitment to public service, teamwork, and leadership both inside and outside the clinic. Fluent in English and proficient in Spanish, Dr. Bonner combines clinical expertise, academic achievement, and community engagement to advance the health and well-being of the patients and communities he serves.
