Dr. Chelsea Fidai, M.D. is a highly skilled dermatologist with a strong foundation in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She currently serves as a Dermatology Resident at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan, where she has developed advanced expertise in procedures such as Mohs surgery, laser therapy, skin rejuvenation, scar revision, and birthmark treatment. Dr. Fidai is widely recognized for her patient-centered approach and commitment to providing the highest standard of dermatologic care through innovation, precision, and compassion.

Before joining Henry Ford Health, Dr. Fidai completed her Transitional Year internship at St. Mary Mercy Hospital, where she gained comprehensive experience in internal medicine and multidisciplinary patient management. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Tulane University School of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society for her outstanding academic performance and leadership. In addition, she holds a Master’s Degree in Pharmacology from Tulane University, equipping her with a strong scientific foundation that enhances her understanding of therapeutic and cosmetic treatments.

Building on her extensive training and experience, Dr. Fidai is now launching her own practice, The Center for Laser and Skin Surgery, set to open in January. This new center will specialize in advanced dermatologic care, including laser procedures, Mohs surgery, and aesthetic rejuvenation. Through her new practice, Dr. Fidai aims to create a patient experience that blends medical excellence with artistry and compassion—empowering individuals to achieve healthy, radiant skin with confidence.

What I enjoy most about practicing medicine is caring for my patients and supporting their families. Building relationships with both children and their parents, guiding them through treatments, and seeing the positive impact on their health and well-being is deeply rewarding.
