Charlton Lyons

Charlton Lyons is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with extensive experience supporting individuals on their journey to recovery. Currently serving as a CADC-II Counselor and Addiction Psychiatrist at Georgia Treatment Services LLC, he provides compassionate, evidence-based care to patients facing substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. Charlton’s approach emphasizes creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported as they work toward lasting recovery.

Charlton earned both his Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling and Case Management and his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Fort Valley State University in Warner Robins, Georgia. Over the years, he has gained experience across multiple clinical settings, including Still Water Professional Counseling LLC, HealthQwest Frontiers Macon, and the Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency. This diverse background enables him to address complex cases of addiction and mental health issues with both clinical expertise and a personal understanding of the challenges his clients face.

He attributes his success to the trials and tribulations he has encountered throughout life, as well as his service in the Georgia Army National Guard, which instilled resilience, discipline, and perseverance. Beyond his professional work, Charlton is committed to empowering his clients, advocating for mental health awareness, and continuously expanding his expertise in addiction medicine to better serve his community.
