Charlton Lyons
Charlton is a proud third-generation military service member, following the legacy of his grandfather and great-grandfather, both of whom honorably served in the United States Navy. Their commitment to service shaped Charlton’s early understanding of discipline, purpose, and community—values he continues to carry throughout his personal and professional life.
A native of Fort Valley, Georgia, Charlton’s passion for the medical field began during his years at Peach County High School, where he was an active member of HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America). It was within HOSA that he first discovered the fulfillment of helping others, the importance of compassion in healthcare, and the potential he had to make an impact in the lives of individuals and families. That formative experience sparked the path he continues to walk today.
Charlton has grown into a dedicated community leader with deep roots in service. A former member of the Sigma Beta Club of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., he now serves as the Director of Bigger and Better Business for the Beta Delta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. In this role, he supports initiatives that strengthen community wellness, access, and empowerment. He also serves as an advisor for the Sigma Beta Club, guiding young men as they develop character, leadership, and academic vision.
In both his professional pursuits in the medical and counseling fields and his community engagement, Charlton remains committed to serving others with integrity, empathy, and determination.
Above all, Charlton is a devoted father to his son. Every milestone he reaches is with the intention of building a legacy of strength, opportunity, and generational success. He hopes his journey—rooted in service, inspired by healthcare, and shaped by community—will one day provide his son with a foundation to rise even higher.
Charlton’s story is one of service, healing, and leadership—dedicated to improving the lives of others and uplifting the community he proudly calls home.

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
What I enjoy most about practicing in the medical/mental health is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life—often at their most vulnerable moments. Being able to support, educate, and guide patients toward healing is both a privilege and a responsibility I never take for granted. Each interaction reminds me why I chose this path: to serve, to comfort, and to help people regain hope and strength.
