Dr. Charles R. Clover, M.D. is a board-certified physician specializing in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Wake Forest Baptist Health, and pursued a fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of Virginia. Licensed to practice in North Carolina, Dr. Clover brings advanced expertise in diagnosing and managing complex chronic pain conditions, helping patients achieve meaningful improvements in function and quality of life.

Dr. Clover’s clinical focus includes interventional pain management, spinal cord stimulation, radiofrequency ablation, nerve blocks, and the treatment of low back, neck, and joint pain. He practices at Southeast Pain & Spine Care in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, where he sees patients at multiple locations within the Charlotte metro region. Dr. Clover is a native of Fayetteville, NC. From there he went on complete his undergraduate studies and medical school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and he is a big-time Tarheel fan! Rounding his way through the ACC, he completed a residency in anesthesiology at Wake Forest University and a fellowship in pain management at the University of Virginia. He has been working with Southeast Pain and Spine Care for five years and sees patients at our Kings Mountain and Shelby locations. He is motivated by seeing his patients return to their normal lives once their pain is better controlled.

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?

What I enjoy most about practicing medicine is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in my patients’ lives by helping them manage pain, regain function, and improve their overall quality of life. Working with Advocate Health and Caromont Health allows me to combine advanced pain management techniques with compassionate, patient-centered care, ensuring each individual receives a treatment plan tailored to their unique needs.
