What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
I just had a drive to help people, and I wanted a career where I could do that. I've always enjoyed being at the bedside with my patients. I tried clinic nursing for a minute and was just too far removed from actual patient care and interaction. So I've always just enjoyed that one-on-one that I get from educating and teaching my patients. That direct connection with patients is what keeps me passionate about nursing - being able to make a real difference in their lives through hands-on care and education.
