Candice Hallmon, ARNP
Candice M. Hallmon, ARNP, AGPCNP, is an accomplished Advanced Practice Registered Nurse serving the Tampa Bay area, currently practicing at Moffitt Cancer Center. With more than 15 years of experience in nursing, she is known for her strong commitment to patient-centered care, prevention, and community health awareness. Her work reflects a deep dedication to improving outcomes for patients through compassionate, evidence-based practice.
Throughout her career, Candice has focused on the care of complex medical and surgical patients, with particular expertise in gastroenterology, gastrointestinal oncology, and surgical patient management. Prior to joining Moffitt Cancer Center, she served at Tampa General Hospital, where she gained extensive experience caring for diverse patient populations in high-acuity hospital settings. These experiences have shaped her comprehensive and thoughtful approach to advanced clinical care.
Candice began her nursing journey by earning an Associate of Science in Nursing from Hillsborough Community College. While working in hospital environments, she continued to advance her education, earning both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida. In 2018, she completed her training as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, marking an important milestone in her professional development.
A strong advocate for prevention and early detection, Candice actively participates in community screening initiatives and outreach programs through her work at Moffitt Cancer Center. Her involvement reflects her belief that education and access to preventive care are essential components of improving long-term health outcomes, particularly for patients at risk for gastrointestinal and oncologic conditions.
Candice is also an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Provider Group, where she contributes to committee work and educational initiatives. Driven by a genuine love for her profession, she remains committed to lifelong learning and professional growth. Through her clinical expertise, community engagement, and dedication to excellence, Candice continues to make a meaningful impact on the patients and communities she serves.
