Camille Ares Figueroa, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Currently serving at Hospital Pavía Caguas, she leverages her extensive clinical experience to support patients across diverse healthcare needs. With a strong foundation in both acute and chronic care, Camille is passionate about promoting wellness, managing complex health conditions, and building meaningful relationships with her patients.
Camille began her nursing career at Hospital Español Auxilio Mutuo, where she spent over six years as a Registered Nurse specializing in oncology and critical care. Her commitment to excellence and leadership led her to her current role as Nursing Supervisor at Hospital Pavía Caguas, where she combines clinical expertise with team coordination and operational oversight. In addition to her clinical work, she has contributed to community health initiatives, including facilitating emotional support and referrals through ASSMCA’s Proyecto ANIMATE.
She holds a Master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner from Universidad Ana G. Méndez (UAGM) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Supervision, Administration, and General Management from the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus. Camille is known for her organizational skills, compassionate patient care, and dedication to professional development, making her a trusted healthcare provider and mentor in the Puerto Rico medical community.

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
I enjoy practicing medicine most because of the meaningful connections I build with my patients. Being able to care for them, guide them through their health journeys, and positively impact their lives is deeply fulfilling. Each patient presents a unique opportunity to make a difference, and their trust and progress are what continually inspire me to provide compassionate, high-quality care.
