Q

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?

I enjoy the autonomy that I have in my work. I also really enjoy getting to talk to different patients and understanding certain things that they may be going through, because sometimes it's not all about the one issue that they come in with - sometimes it's other things, other factors that are affecting them too. So just being able to listen to them is important, and sometimes that's all they want us to do, is just listen. I think that's the main thing that I truly like - getting to have that contact with different people and really connecting with them on a deeper level.
