Brittany J. Reynolds, NP

Brittany Reynolds, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a highly skilled psychiatric nurse practitioner with 15 years of experience in the healthcare field. She began her nursing journey with an associate degree from Anne Arundel Community College in 2011, followed by a bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix in 2014 and a master’s degree from Walden University in 2023. Over the course of her career, she has built a strong foundation in medical-surgical care, telemetry/step-down, and progressive care before advancing into psychiatric practice, where she is now board certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.

Before transitioning into her current role at Broadstep Behavioral, Brittany spent eight years as a dedicated travel nurse, often serving as a strike relief nurse in multiple states—most frequently in California. Her diverse experience also includes leadership positions such as charge nurse, preceptor, and a year as a nurse educator. This wide-ranging background has strengthened her clinical expertise and deepened her ability to adapt, lead, and provide compassionate care in a variety of healthcare environments.

Brittany’s passion for nursing began early, inspired by her aunt, an OB-GYN whom she shadowed throughout her teenage years. She attributes her success to remaining humble, staying rooted in her faith, and maintaining a caring spirit that guides her work. Outside of her professional life, she loves traveling and spending quality time with her husband and their nine-year-old son. Committed to lifelong learning and service, Brittany continues to grow as a clinician while making a meaningful difference in the lives of the patients she serves.
