Brittany Crane, ARNP-FNP
Brittany Crane is a Family Nurse Practitioner and Owner of Clinic Solvida with 12 years of nursing experience and 2 years of advanced practice experience as a nurse practitioner. She has built her career in rural and underserved healthcare settings, with a strong foundation in emergency medicine and critical access hospitals. Her nursing background includes roles at organizations such as Columbia County Health System, Gritman Medical Center, and Tri-State Memorial Hospital, where she provided acute, emergency, and inpatient care while also serving in leadership roles as a charge nurse and shift supervisor.
As a nurse practitioner, Brittany specializes in family medicine and has spent two years working within a federally qualified health center focused on expanding access to primary care for underserved populations. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the AANP. Her clinical perspective is shaped by a commitment to continuity of care and a strong belief in preventive medicine over reactive, crisis-driven healthcare.
Brittany is currently in the process of opening Clinic Solvida, a Direct Primary Care clinic where she will serve as a solo practitioner providing comprehensive primary care services. The clinic is designed to improve access for underserved populations through a cash-based membership model with sliding fee discounts, ensuring that care remains accessible even for individuals without insurance. Her decision to transition away from emergency medicine was driven by a desire to focus on preventive care, reduce avoidable hospitalizations, and build a more personal, independent model of healthcare outside of traditional corporate systems.

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
I've always been really passionate about helping people - it's just kind of in my nature, I just like to do that. I started out as a CNA working in adult family homes with elderly patients, and I just absolutely loved it. I knew that I needed to take that passion further, and so I just kept going back to school. What I love now is seeing the preventative side of medicine versus the reactive side. As a practitioner, it's fun to catch people before they end up in the ER. I feel like I can do so much more on that end - catching people before they're in the ER. I really wanted to pick a niche population that I can target and help, and just do more that way than trying to catch everybody.
