Blakeley LeBeau, NP

Blakeley LeBeau, NP, is a dedicated nurse practitioner affiliated with Acadiana Acute Care Associates LLC, providing care in the Emergency Department at Our Lady of Lourdes Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She serves a diverse patient population, including approximately 60 percent pediatric patients and 40 percent adults. Since beginning her career in nursing in 2017, Blakeley has been drawn to the fast-paced environment of emergency medicine, where she can make an immediate difference in patients’ lives.

After working in a Well Baby Nursery early in her career, Blakeley witnessed the joy and challenges families experience when welcoming newborns. While the experience was rewarding, she sought a role that offered greater variety and the opportunity to apply advanced clinical skills. Returning to the emergency department allowed her to embrace a wide range of cases—from minor illnesses such as fevers, colds, and ear infections to injuries like fractures, lacerations, and sprains, as well as acute emergencies including asthma attacks, seizures, trauma, abuse cases, dehydration, and cardiac arrest. She values the diversity and unpredictability of the emergency room, which ensures that no two days are the same.

Blakeley thrives in the “organized chaos” of the emergency setting, finding energy in the constant learning opportunities each shift provides. She has recently developed a keen interest in caring for mothers during early pregnancy, particularly before the 20-week gestational mark. This interest builds on her background in neonatal and pediatric care and reflects her desire to expand her knowledge and expertise in areas that directly impact both mother and child.

Working with Acadiana Acute Care Associates has been an incredibly rewarding experience for Blakeley. She attributes much of her professional growth and success to her faith in God, whose guidance has carried her through every step of her journey. She is also grateful for the exceptional mentorship and collaboration she experiences with the team of physicians and advanced practice providers she works alongside daily. Their support has been invaluable in shaping her development as a clinician.

Beyond her professional achievements, Blakeley is deeply appreciative of her family, whose unwavering encouragement has been foundational throughout her career.
