Beth Kudelka, Au.D., is a Doctor of Audiology currently practicing at Broward ENT & Aesthetics in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she has been instrumental in establishing and developing the clinic’s audiology department. She earned her Doctorate of Audiology from Nova Southeastern University in May 2025 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Kean University. With less than a year of clinical practice since graduation, she is building a strong foundation in diagnostic audiology while contributing meaningfully to expanding services within her organization.

At Broward ENT & Aesthetics, Dr. Kudelka focuses primarily on diagnostic hearing evaluations and vestibular testing for patients experiencing dizziness and balance disorders. She has developed a particular clinical interest in vestibular assessment, which she considers her specialty and primary area of focus. Her work currently centers on adult patients, with services including hearing loss evaluations and dizziness workups, while plans are underway to expand into tinnitus management and hearing aid services as the department grows.

In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Kudelka is actively involved in education and professional development within the medical community. She lectures to ENT residents through Broward Health’s residency program, providing instruction on foundational audiology concepts, hearing evaluations, vestibular testing, and related pathologies. Through both her clinical and academic contributions, she is helping bridge audiology and otolaryngology while advancing patient care through education, collaboration, and evidence-based practice.

Q

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?

I love the diagnostic part of audiology. When a patient comes in complaining of hearing loss, we're diagnosing them in the same way and being able to treat them. That's what I really enjoy about it. It's also very vast in the way that you can work - you can work in ENT in a medical setting, you can work in hospitals, private practice. We do all spectrums of age, from newborn babies all the way to the geriatric population, so I really like the possibilities attached. With vestibular testing specifically, I love that there are so many tests under the sun that we can do for diagnosing these patients. My favorite thing is that a lot of dizzy patients have a chronic disease and are constantly dizzy, and it affects their quality of life. A lot of the time, they get passed around different specialties, just kind of saying 'not us, you know, next one, next one.' I like to be able to do the full spectrum of testing, give them some answers, and maybe some management styles as far as exercises or correct referrals, just to kind of improve their quality of life and for them to understand those underlying conditions, what causes them, and why they might have them. It's such a meaningful impact when you're able to make a difference in quality of life, and you can just give them the information.
