Beth Krentzman, LPC

Beth Krentzman is a Licensed Professional Counselor based in New Jersey, with a primary practice through SonderMind Inc., a national telehealth provider serving clients across the state. She also works with A&W Psychology Services in Lanoka Harbor, a VA-contracted practice providing VA evaluations and a two-year PTSD therapy program for veterans. Beth specializes in treating first responders, police officers, veterans, depression, anxiety, and trauma, bringing extensive experience in addressing a variety of additional conditions.

When working with Beth, clients receive the support, encouragement, and tools to develop and maintain an individualized plan of positive change. Clients are provided the opportunity to explore barriers and reflect on unhelpful thoughts and behaviors that contribute to problems. They learn to reframe negative patterns and develop healthy ways to navigate difficult situations. Beth’s personal approach includes meeting clients where they are and helping them achieve their goals. She uses an eclectic combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) to foster self-discovery, emotional self-regulation, and personal growth. Beth employs goal-oriented and strengths-based techniques, focusing on present-day problems and/or past traumas. She provides a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while learning skills to improve mental health.

Committed to accessibility, Beth offers telehealth sessions statewide while continuing in-person sessions for those who prefer face-to-face support. She transitioned into counseling after an earlier career in the music and media industry and has over 16 years of experience in the mental health field. Beth holds a bachelor’s degree in Media Studies with a minor in Psychology, a master’s degree in Psychology, and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
