Behzod Rostam, M.D.
Dr. Behzod Rostam was raised in the Metro Detroit area, where his early experiences helped shape his strong work ethic, appreciation for community, and commitment to service. He earned his medical degree from St. Matthew’s University and completed his family medicine residency at Munson Medical Center through Michigan State University, where he received broad, hands-on training across all areas of primary care and developed a deep respect for comprehensive, patient-centered medicine.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Rostam is a devoted father, and his greatest joy comes from spending time with his daughters. He has a lifelong passion for racing cars, staying active through sports, and maintaining a healthy, energetic lifestyle. He also loves international travel, which allows him to experience different cultures and perspectives—an interest that further enriches his approach to caring for patients from all walks of life.

What do you enjoy most about practicing medicine?
What I enjoy most about practicing medicine is the opportunity to build lasting, meaningful relationships with my patients and to be present for them during some of the most important moments of their lives. There is a deep sense of fulfillment in helping patients improve their health, navigate complex medical decisions, and feel genuinely heard and supported. I value the autonomy of running my own practice, as it allows me to practice medicine the way it was meant to be practiced—thoughtfully, ethically, and with the patient’s best interests at the center of every decision. This independence gives me the flexibility to spend more time with patients, focus on quality over volume, and continually adapt my care to meet the unique needs of the individuals and families I serve.
