Ashley Samatha Hendricks-Esco
Ashley Hendricks-Esco is a dedicated and highly skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse at Kaiser Permanente, currently serving on an on-call basis while completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing clinicals. She joined Kaiser through an externship and has since built a diverse clinical portfolio, gaining hands-on experience across pediatrics, adult and family medicine, and cardiology. Throughout her career, Ashley has been recognized for her patient-centered approach, collaborative teamwork, and ability to mentor and guide colleagues, ensuring adherence to best practices and the highest standards of care.
With a strong commitment to family-centered and practical nursing, Ashley prioritizes meaningful, direct interactions with patients and their families. She believes in providing not only technical care but also emotional support and guidance, helping patients and families navigate complex healthcare situations with confidence and resilience. Her experience at the Center for Neuro Skills further exemplifies her versatility and clinical competence, where she supported patients recovering from traumatic brain injuries, managed admissions, coordinated care plans, and facilitated communication between multidisciplinary teams to optimize recovery outcomes.
Ashley began her healthcare journey as a medical assistant in 2017, quickly establishing a foundation of clinical proficiency and patient advocacy. She completed a part-time LVN program at Napa Valley College, earning an Associate of Science in Licensed Vocational Nursing with certifications in intravenous therapy and pre-health studies, and has seamlessly transitioned into her role as an LVN at Kaiser Permanente. She is currently advancing her education through Nightingale College’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, expected to graduate in April 2026. Ashley’s combination of technical expertise, practical experience, and dedication to compassionate, family-focused care positions her as a trusted and valued professional in the healthcare community.

What I enjoy most about practicing medicine is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in my patients’ lives while continually expanding my own knowledge and skills. I find it deeply rewarding to support patients and their families through every step of their care, providing guidance, education, and compassionate attention. At the same time, the dynamic nature of healthcare allows me to learn something new every day, whether it’s a clinical technique, an innovative treatment approach, or a better way to communicate and connect with those I serve.
