Ashley Barnhill, MMS, PA-C, is a dedicated Family Medicine Physician Assistant serving patients across the Greater Phoenix area. She brings a strong academic foundation to her work, having earned both her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies and her Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences from Midwestern University in Arizona. Throughout her extensive clinical training, she completed more than 1,600 hours across nine diverse rotations, gaining experience in internal medicine, pediatrics, emergency medicine, general surgery, psychiatry, dermatology, OB/GYN, and family medicine. This broad clinical exposure shaped her into a versatile and confident provider committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.


Ashley currently practices at Arrowhead Health Medical Centers, where she provides comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages. Her responsibilities include conducting detailed medical histories and physical exams, performing gynecological evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, prescribing medications, and ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and diagnostic studies. She is also experienced in in-office procedures such as osteoarthritis knee injections, wound care, laceration repair, women’s health exams, and skin biopsies. Known for her adaptability and compassionate approach, she works hard to ensure every patient feels supported, understood, and empowered in their healthcare journey.


Before joining Arrowhead Health Medical Centers, Ashley spent several years at Redirect Health and gained additional clinical and research experience at Casa Colina Rehabilitation Center and the W.M. Keck Science Department. Her volunteer work with Hospice of the Valley and local children’s programs further strengthened her commitment to service and holistic care. A highly motivated and continually evolving professional, Ashley remains dedicated to expanding her clinical expertise and contributing meaningfully to the well-being of her community.
