Dr. Angel White, DNP, APRN-FPA, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC

Dr. Angel White is a Chicago native and a doctoral-prepared, dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with more than 20 years of diverse nursing experience including primary care (across the life span), urgent care, acute and long-term care, weight management, mental health, home health, hospice and palliative care, and telehealth. She is deeply passionate about health promotion, disease prevention, weight management, mental health, and the management of both acute and chronic conditions.

Dr. White is the co-owner of A & S Divine Healthcare, located in Calumet City, Illinois, where she provides comprehensive, high-quality healthcare services. Her practice offers primary and urgent care, mental health services, in-office testing and labs, school, sports, work, and DOT physicals, weight management and body contouring, IV hydration and vitamin therapy, telehealth visits, CPR classes, and nursing preceptorship opportunities.

In addition to her clinical leadership, Dr. White is committed to education and mentorship. She serves as an adjunct graduate nursing professor at a local university, where she prepares the next generation of nurse leaders by sharing her knowledge, clinical expertise, and real-world experiences. Beyond healthcare, Dr. White is a Certified Business and Entrepreneurship Life Coach and a visionary entrepreneur. She is the Founder and CEO of Angel’s Xclusive Creations (AXC), a brand rooted in the mission of “Bringing Visions to Life”. Through AXC, she provides business and entrepreneurship coaching sessions and workshops that help aspiring and established business owners develop strategic pathways to success. AXC also hosts professional networking events designed to empower, educate, and connect entrepreneurs with valuable resources and opportunities.

Dr. White is the Founder and Host of “Black Excellence in Healthcare: White Coats & Real Talk Podcast”, a platform that highlights and celebrates the journeys of Black healthcare professionals. She is also the Founder of the “White Coat Powerhouse Nurse Practitioner Group”, a dynamic professional community dedicated to mentorship, education, advocacy, and professional development. This group supports nurse practitioners at every stage of their career, promoting excellence in clinical practice, leadership, and business acumen. A passionate community advocate, Dr. White is the Founder and President of Angel’s Helping Hands Nonprofit Organization (501c3). This mentorship program guides and inspires youth through education, personal growth, and career development. For many years, she has dedicated herself to empowering women and young girls, sharing her knowledge, real-life experiences, and encouragement to help them reach their full potential. She firmly believes that “nothing is more powerful than helping others by providing knowledge and opportunities”.

Dr. White’s exceptional leadership and impact have earned her numerous accolades, including the “40 Under 40 Nursing Leaders,” “Community Service,” and “Mentorship and Education” awards from The Nurses Magazine. She has also received the “Women of Distinction Honors” from Nationwide Registries and has been featured in The Southland Journal for her outstanding achievements and community impact. Dr. White is the accomplished author of two empowering books: White Coat Power Moves: How to Build Your Brand as a Nurse Practitioner and The RN to NP Transition Blueprint: What to Expect, What to Know, and How to Prepare, both designed to equip nurses with the clarity, confidence, and strategy needed to excel in advanced practice.
